Overview

Study includes disciplines focused on both the theoretical foundations of the various analytical and physico-chemical methods and practical laboratory skills. The emphasis is on good mathematical, chemical and physical basis. Students are choosing compulsory and recommended courses may profile directed toward either the general analytical or physical chemistry.

Careers

Graduates of the bachelor's degree usually continue in the master study at the UCT Prague in programmes such as Analytical chemistry and quality engineering, Physical chemistry, Molecular analytical and physical chemistry, Drug analysis, Forensic chemistry (specialization Forensic analytical chemistry). Given the high proportion of universal science and technology education, graduates may possibly find application in various fields of industrial and social practice. Graduates have basic knowledge in general physico-chemical disciplines and the most common practice used analytical methods, including taking of samples, the preparation for analysis, the measurement, data processing method and interpretation of results.
