New Professors Honored at Official Appointment Ceremony

The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, officially presented professorial appointment decrees to 93 newly appointed professors during a ceremony held at the Carolinum in Prague.

We are proud to congratulate three newly appointed professors associated with the Faculty of Chemical Engineering:

• Prof. Bohumil Dolenský – Analytical Chemistry
• Prof. Zdenek Slouka – Chemical Engineering
• Prof. Pavel Izák – Physical Chemistry (Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals, Czech Academy of Sciences; nominated by the Scientific Council of UCT Prague)

We warmly congratulate all three professors on this important academic achievement and wish them continued success in their research, teaching, and professional careers.
