Information for Bachelor Students
All deadlines follow the Academic Year Regulations 2025/2026 issued by the University.
- Registration for the Bachelor’s thesis topic in SIS: by 30 November 2025
- Selection of examination areas and registration for the State Final Examination (SFE):by 15 April 2026
- Verification of fulfillment of study requirements and the total number of earned credits for all years of study will be carried out by the Faculty Dean’s Office: for the 1st SFE term by 9 June 2026, for the 2nd SFE term by 10 July 2026
- Submission of Bachelor’s theses: electronically via SIS and in printed form at the departmental secretariats deadlines: for the 1st SFE term by 3 June 2026, for the 2nd SFE term by 7 July 2026
- State Final Examinations (SFE) will take place: 1st term: from 15 to 30 June 2026, 2nd term: from 24 August to 4 September 2026 (exact dates will be determined by the Dean of the Faculty)
- Graduation ceremonies will take place on 6 and 7 October 2026. The exact time and venue will be specified in the official invitation.
- Guidelines for writing final theses
- According to the Dean’s Directive No. FCHI/2/2025, the following applies: Bachelor’s theses must be submitted in two printed copies, either hardbound or softbound with a plastic or paper spine. The original thesis assignment must be included in one of the submitted copies. The Head of the Department may reduce the number of required printed copies, up to zero.
- The recommended length of a Bachelor’s thesis is approximately 30 pages of text, including figures and tables.

Information for Master Students
All deadlines follow the Academic Year Organization Directive 2025/2026.
- Selection of examination areas and registration for the State Final Examination (SFE):
by 15 April 2026 - Verification of fulfillment of study requirements and the total number of earned credits for both years of study will be carried out by the Faculty Dean’s Office by 19 May 2026
- Submission of Master’s theses: electronically via SIS, and in printed form at the departmental secretariats by 14 May 2026
- State Final Examinations (SFE) will take place from 1 to 10 June 2026
- Graduation ceremonies will take place on 16, 17, and 18 June 2026. The exact times and venue will be specified in the official invitation.

- The supervisor’s and opponent’s evaluations are completed online, according to instructions that will be sent to both the supervisor and the opponent by email at the time of thesis submission.
