Professor Igor Schreiber Receives Lifetime Achievement Award
Professor Igor Schreiber from the Department of Chemical Engineering has received the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to applied mathematics. The award was presented on the occasion of his invited plenary lecture at the 4th International Conference on Mathematical Analysis & Applications in Modelling, held at Jadavpur University in Kolkata, India.
Professor Schreiber has dedicated his career to the development and application of advanced mathematical methods in chemical engineering, reaction kinetics, and mathematical biology. He is also the author of several monographs, including Chaotic Behaviour of Deterministic Dissipative Systems (Cambridge University Press, 1995) and Determination of Complex Reaction Mechanisms: Analysis of Chemical, Biological, and Genetic Networks (Oxford University Press, 2005).
Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
