Gaudeamus Education Fair

From 20 to 22 January 2026, the PVA EXPO PRAHA venue in Letňany was filled with thousands of young people interested in further education. The European Fair of Post-Secondary and Lifelong Education, Gaudeamus Prague 2026, took place there, marking the 18th edition of this traditional event. Gaudeamus has long been one of the largest education fairs of its kind in the Czech Republic, presenting a broad spectrum of study opportunities — from universities and higher education institutions to various forms of lifelong learning. This year, a total of 386 educational institutions from the Czech Republic and abroad were represented.

The University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (UCT Prague) also presented its study programmes at the fair. The university was represented, among others, by doctoral student Rostislav Huňa, who introduced visitors particularly to the field of Chemical Engineering and its wide range of career opportunities.
Chemical engineering connects engineering, chemistry, biology, and mechanical engineering. This interdisciplinarity makes the field exceptionally interesting and opens up career paths for graduates, for example in the chemical industry,” Rostislav Huňa told Novinky.cz.

An overview of all study programmes offered by our faculty in English, along with further information, is available on the website for prospective students. The application deadline is 31 January 2026.
